Update: I've shrank the picture, otherwise people might as well just print off the version and not get any prints if they want a bigger, clearer picture.

.Print version has no watermark.

What started out as a gift art intention for someone on deviantart ended up in me drawing my own characters “Clara” and “Keith” from my own comic “The Forgotten Chronicles”. I spent a few hours drawing the basic sketches inking it and scanning it in. Then I spent another few hours improving the outline so it looks better, and then spend the whole 9 hours colouring it.

I feel this is the best artwork I have done so far in 2007, and I am quite satisfied with the outcome of the picture after it’s been completed.

Advanced critique is appreciated from people who can draw much better than this.

o.o the background is just amazing, and it blends so good with the figures... the sleeping kitty is just so cute, and the girl face says a lot...

hmm.. her hair seems to imply that the wind is blowing in her face.. yet the grass is blown to the right, except that bit in the foreground where it is being blown to the left. and her tears aren't affected by the wind at all. the blue braids seem too unnaturally lifted by the wind =/

other than that, this is quite a lovely work :D

I love the symmetry in this. The emotion in the eyes is very well done, and I like the design of the kimono.. very cute x3 <3 The somewhat subdued colours work nicely, and the colours in the sky are wonderful ^-^ Keep up the good work =D
